Kootingal Pumpkin Festival and Motor Show

The Kootingal Pumpkin Festival and Motor Show will be held on Sunday 1 April 2012.
KMC will again be displaying at the Festival in Denman Avenue, and is organising a raffle with "local" prizes.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, the three prizes are a car "grease & oil change" service, a registration inspection ("pink slip") and car care products. Tickets are $1 each, 3 for $2 or 7 for $5.

Show Progress

The committee meeting last Monday addressed all the outstanding items, despite the extremely inclement weather. One of the committee reflected that "you really needed a boat to get out of the grounds after the meeting".
The signs have been installed on the highway (thanks Des) and are well-placed as usual. The addition to the signs of the KMC website address look good, again thanks to Des for organising.

All members are reminded that there is a general meeting on Monday 5 March at 7pm at Kooty Pub. More volunteers are keenly sought for tasks like judging, marshalling etc.

Route 66

A couple of KMC members are heading to the US in May for a friend's 50th birthday celebrations in Las Vegas. They are planning on travelling the old Route 66 to get there from Dallas. Stay tuned for trip news and photos - there is sure to be plenty of motoring memorabilia to photograph!

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be on Monday 5 March 2012 at 7pm at Kooty Pub, to 

finalise the plans for the 2012 Moonbi/Kootingal Motor Show. There will be a Committee Meeting before then, at a date to be advised. 

• Committee Meeting will be held at Moonbi on Monday 20 February.
• Committee meeting has been held. Next meeting is a general meeting as noted above. 

2012 Moonbi/Kootingal Motor Show
